Energia geotermica

          Geotermal  Energy

Primary or secondary energy:

Geothermal energy Geothermal energy is a primary light source, and comes directly from nature, without the need to transform it. It is obtained from the heat of the earth, such as: the decomposition of radioactive elements, etc.

Renewable oro nonrenewable:

Geothermal energy is a renewable, clean and constant source of energy, which comes from the heat inside the Earth. Unlike solar or wind, it does not depend on weather conditions, which makes it more stable and available all year round. Its proper use makes it a practically inexhaustible and efficient option for the generation of electricity and heating.

Traditional or alternative energy

Geothermal energy  is considered an alternative energy. This means that it is a source of renewable energy, as it uses heat from the interior of the Earth, which is not easily exhausted.

Unlike traditional energy sources, which rely on fossil fuels such as oil and coal, geothermal energy is more sustainable and less harmful to the environment. It is a good option to produce electricity and heat homes more ecologically.

Brief definition:

Geothermal energy It is the heat found inside the Earth. This heat comes from volcanic activity and the movement of tectonic plates. It can be used to generate electricity or heat spaces. It is renewable and sustainable energy, the means of which are those that are available and safe for the environment.

Advantages:

Renewable: Always available, since it usas the heat of the Earth.

Ecological : Very low emisiones of greenhouse gases.

Constante : Provides energy continuously, sin depending on the climate.

Efficient : Generatas energy effectively and requires less space.

Low Costs: Less operating costs and long-term maintenance.

Versatile: Useful for heating, cooling and electricity generation.

Local development: It creates jobs and improves the economy of communities.

Problems:

Toxic gases: It can release dangerous gases, sucho as sulphuric ácido, which are harmful to health.

Dams to the Environment: Its exploitation can affect the landscape and damage the flora and fauna of the area.

Water re-clearing: Sometimes it is difficult to turn the water used on the Earth, which can cause environmental problems.

High Early Costes:The investment to establish a geothermal plant is high and the process is slow, which can be an obstacle.

Limited location:Not all regions have access to geothermal resources, so it can only be used in specific areas.
